Android Market Hits 20k Apps

In less then 5 months the Android Market has doubled in size from 10k applications to over 20k. The growth is accelerating and thought by many to be a matter of when, not if, it will surpass the iPhone app store. Currently 62% (or roughly two thirds) of the Android Market is FREE.
